Evidence-Based Integrative Health in Pediatric Oncology and Palliative Care

A Spanish-language virtual certificate program

Integrative Health Global, along with colleagues across the Americas, is launching a new international course for physicians, nurses, dietitians, psychologists, therapists, social workers, child life specialists, and others caring for children with cancer and serious illness.

Participants will explore evidence-based integrative approaches to symptom management and quality of life, strengthen multidisciplinary collaboration, and gain practical tools adaptable to diverse healthcare settings across Latin America.

The course is intended to include the following topics

• Foundations of integrative pediatric oncology

• Research and evidence in integrative oncology

• Acupuncture and Tui Na: safety, feasibility, and clinical application

• Integrative nutrition in pediatric oncology

• Dietary and herbal supplements in children with cancer

• Mind-body therapies, including hypnosis, guided imagery, and mindfulness

• Movement and body-based therapies, including yoga, exercise, and massage

• Integrative approaches in pediatric palliative care

A certificate will be awarded upon completion.
