Pediatric Integrative Medicine Educational Preceptorship

Pediatric Integrative Medicine Educational Preceptorship

On Friday, March 5, and Saturday, March 6, 2027

Integrative Health Global will convene global leaders in traditional, complementary, and integrative medicine (TCIM) and pediatric noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) for a landmark two-day educational preceptorship in New York City.

This in-person gathering addresses a significant gap in the field: organized educational programming dedicated specifically to integrative medicine for children living with chronic disease remains scarce. Over two days, internationally recognized experts will reason through real patient cases together, revealing how practitioners of different modalities approach the same child and family, and how those perspectives converge into a single, whole-person prescription.

This is not a conference of lecture halls and slide decks. The preceptorship follows a Socratic, case-based model in which discussion is driven by questions submitted in advance by participants, ensuring that every session speaks directly to the questions that matter most in practice, research, and education. The structure promotes robust participant engagement.

Program topics will span:

  1. Whole Person Health
  2. Research Approaches in Pediatric Integrative Medicine
  3. Pediatric Hematology and Supportive Care
  4. Pediatric Oncology and Integrative Supportive Care
  5. Gastroenterology: Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)
  6. Gastroenterology: Obesity and the Gut-Brain Axis
  7. Endocrine Conditions and Diabetes
  8. Immunology, Lupus, and Pediatric Rheumatology
  9. Integrative Approaches to Asthma
  10. Neurology, Epilepsy, and the Ketogenic Diet
  11. Acupuncture and Supportive Care
  12. Nutrition in Pediatric Chronic Disease
  13. Integrative Pain Management Across Conditions
  14. Hypnosis and Mind-Body Therapies
  15. Dermatology: Eczema and Psoriasis
