
Katherine Taromina
Katherine Taromina, DACM, Dipl. OM (NCCAOM), LAc., is a dedicated practitioner and educator in the field of Acupuncture and East Asian medicine. Currently, she serves as the Co-President for Academics, for the Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine, as well as a Research and Oncology Acupuncturist at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. She has previously served as the Program Manager at Columbia University Irving Medical Center's Integrative Therapies Program and as a faculty member at multiple graduate-level institutions.
Katherine has been working with adults and children with cancer for over 25 years, both in private practice and hospital-based settings. She has a deep commitment to being part of research projects and other initiatives that will contribute to expanded access for patients to utilize integrative therapies during all phases of cancer treatment and survivorship.
Katherine has served two terms as a Commissioner for the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (ACAHM) and is a previous Board member for the Society for Integrative Oncology.
