Dr. Ricardo Ghelman is a Brazilian pediatrician, pediatric oncologist, and a pioneering researcher in Anthroposophic Medicine and Traditional, Complementary, and Integrative Medicine (TCIM). Throughout his career, he has championed the development of evidence-based integrative healthcare models that enhance patient outcomes, improve quality of life, and promote whole-person care.


Dr. Ghelman is the Founder and Chair of the Brazilian Academic Consortium for Integrative Health (CABSIN), a leading organization dedicated to advancing scientific research and evidence-informed policy in integrative health. He also serves as an advisor to the World Health Organization (WHO), the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), and the Brazilian Ministry of Health, where he has played a key role in supporting the evidence-based integration of TCIM into public health systems across Latin America.


A recognized international leader in integrative medicine, Dr. Ghelman is the President of the 3rd World Congress on Traditional, Complementary and Integrative Medicine (WCTCIM). He is a strong advocate for global collaboration in advancing integrative health, aligning with the vision of the World Congress, the G20 Gujarat Declaration, and the World Health Organization's Traditional Medicine Strategy 2025–2034. Through his leadership, research, and policy work, he continues to help shape the future of integrative healthcare worldwide.
